BIO

Adalynne Ellsworth, raised in Bountiful, Utah, studied different artistic mediums all throughout her childhood and teenage years and began oil painting for the first time in high school. She received her degree in Art History from the University of Utah. During her education she gained a great appreciation for French Rococo and Neoclassical paintings, which inspire her current work.

“I really admire careful attention to detail in artwork, and that’s what led me to the teacups that I paint. I love how they are beautifully hand-crafted and there is so much thoughtful and intricate detail in each piece. They make a wonderful and challenging still-life subject! I love pairing these beautiful man-made treasures with little creatures that come from nature. The beauty of the natural world and the material world coming together.”
